About Me

Stoic Mail Club began not as a business or a pursuit of fame, but as a personal journey. Through the lens of Stoic philosophy, I’ve found clarity, calm, and a deeper appreciation for everyday life.Since childhood, I’ve had a quiet fascination with stamps. Back in the village in Sri Lanka where I grew up, I’ve spent long waits at the local post office, watching the clerks stamp letters with their date stamps — that loud, satisfying thud filled me with joy. There was something magical about those moments, watching stories leave through the post.

That love never faded. I still adore stamps — in fact, I’ve designed a few special ones for Stoic Mail Club. Join me on this journey and you’ll get to discover them, and maybe discover something in yourself too. This isn’t a “Stoicism 101” course or a guide to ancient philosophy. These letters are about real life — the daily challenges I face, how I try to respond to them with a Stoic mindset, and the lessons I stumble upon along the way. Some letters include small reflections or philosophical ideas; others might include an occasional silly story or quiet moment from my week. Each one is written with care, humility, and curiosity — a reminder that wisdom isn’t something distant or ancient, but something we live, one day at a time.
